Until now I have invested in the Italian, Spanish and UK markets, but I try to look for opportunities in all European markets. I am myself from Italy. My interest for European markets comes also from the exchange rate risk that I take everytime I purchase shares denominated in USD. Furthermore, I think many opportunities await us in the European markets, as Europe struggles with the debt crisis and comes out from the financial crisis slower than the USA.
The problem I find is that there are very few tools on internet to facilitate company analysis for markets other than USA and UK. Some websites about the German markets look interesting but are only in German…
I regularly visit eurosharelab and I signed up for their free newsletter, which is quite interesting. However it does never talk about specific investment ideas in European markets, which is something I am looking for.
By the way, I am also a purchaser and user of your great spreadsheet (I used another e-mail address, though) which I use to learn about investing. It is a great tool and I really congratulate you for this on-going achievement.
Are you interested in some specific markets in Europe? How about the exchange rate risk? This is quite a scary subject for me.
