hi there,

 

I know exactly what you mean but there are a couple of issues with this.

1. the spreadsheet uses free data and by tryign to load 30 or more (some ppl want to do over 200), it has a chance of overloading the website we are getting the data from. To prevent abuse of free data, I did not include such functionality.

2. even if the code was included to run 30 stocks concurrently, it will take over 15min because the spreadsheet has to calculate the value of the stock individually. It can only handle one stock at a time. It wont be able to get the data from 30 simulataneously and load it in 30 seconds.

I'm new to OSV, so this may be obvious to other folks already.

I'd like to add a group of 30 stocks or so to the StockDB worksheet. But the only way to add them appears to be one at a time via the "Enter Ticker"  then "Add Stock" sequence.  Which means it will take 15 minutes just to load the stocks.  The StockDb list is a nice way to see a bunch of stocks in a global format, so it would be great to be able to load it more easily.

Does anybody know how add a bunch of stocks to it without going through the aforementined sequence?
