Short answer – Yes I do change the eps.

If I'm screening for stocks and just running through ideas, then I'll likely just keep it as it is, but when I get deeper into it, I'll go through the adjustments and correct the number if I have to.

I use the "Financial Analysis Spreadsheet" to do the adjustments. I have all the required formulas and methods there to make it easier.

Then I just either subtract or add to the diluted EPS.

Not sure what you mean by "link my findings to the OSV stock valuation sheet to show the differences".

Jae,

 

I have some questions regarding the financial spreadsheet and its implementation with the OSV stock valuation spreadsheets. Do you ever change your eps on any of the OSV stock spreadsheets because there was a major difference in the adjusted eps from diluted eps? For example, I have some shares of SOHU and I am reevaluating my position in it and I noticed that the eps was effected by 17% in the current year, (Last year it was 46%). Would you change your eps calculations on the Graham valuation sheet? Also, is there a way you combine the differences in say, SGA, Tax rates, Depreciation to come up with a new adjusted EPS? Would you recommend just adding/subtracting the differences we come with on a separate sheet for the years and use the new adjusted eps as astarting point for my analysis? One last question, is there any way I can link my findings to the OSV stock valuation sheet to show the differences as a checking point as well?
