thats another completely different question. If you need to calculate those new columns, then it requires tons of work.
The best thing to do is somehow get an internet connection.

Allright thanks.
Is it also possible, that once a spreadsheet has been loaded with all of the historic years' data, to manually enter the new years/quarters in it as soon as the data is available – so without using the internet or hyperlinks underneath which will fetch the data?
In other words. Imagine that I want to invest in just 10 companies for a longer time and I've loaded all the data untill today and save the separate tickers, when the new quarter/year results are being released, how could I manually enter these in the sheet without harming the underlying formulas?
How would I have to safely add a seperate column in the "statements" tab and/or in the "DCF Valuation" and fill out the data myself?
Kind regards,
Roger

no an internet connection is required.
What you can do instead is save the spreadsheet as a new file for each ticker.
Make sure auto calculate is turned off otherwise, it will try to refresh even when there is no internet connection.
That way you can look through a lot of companies without internet.

Hi,
I was wondering -as I am not the Excel guru kind of guy- if it would be possible to use Jae's spreadsheet WITHOUT any internet connection. When I would took the effort of picking just a few companies, manually entering the figures every quarter, and saving it under the filename which is the same as the ticket (eg. WMT.xlsx), would the spreadsheet work as usual (when overriding formulas) or isn't this possible?
This question might sound silly, but the fact is that while I'm staying in our family's vacation home for a longer period in the mountains of southern Spain I have a very poor internet connection / sometimes none and because I connect my mobile phone on my laptop, the roaming data costs are extremely high.
Please advice.
Kind regards,
Roger
