Does this happen everytime you open the spreadsheet?

Can you try deleting C:/SMF and re running the smf_add-in.exe file?

Jae, I use Windows XP and Excel 2007.  I downloaded the premium spreadsheet and installed it but when I run it I encounter the below windows and "Enter Ticker" doesn't work.  Any ideas?

 

I pressed Yes

I selected Enable this content and pressed OK

 

I pressed OK

 

I already tried what you suggested for another user:

It's all related to excel cache.

  •  
    • open a new excel (not the spreadsheet)
    • go to add-ins and deselect the smf add-in
    • shut down excel completely to empty the excel cache
    • re open excel and go to add-ins again and verify that the check mark is empty
    • shut down excel completely to empty the excel cache
    • reopen excel, go to add-ins again and now browse to the SMF folder and select the new xla again
    • shut down excel completely to empty the excel cache
    • open excel with the spreadsheets
