I think the only way would be to edit the macro itself.
As steve_jay pointed out:
What I did was open the RCH spreadsheet, and edited the macro.
1. I did a search for all instances of http://www.advfn.com/ in
the macro
2. I replace them with http://ca.advfn.com/
3. Note: I only found 2 instances in the entire project.

I think I have the same problem with the FS analysis spreadsheet.
I get redirected to local advfn site.
Is there anyway to conquer this error or does one have to be in the US?
I think this worked for me from the US.

thanks for letting us know about that.
Although it isn't recommended to change the macro, you gotta do what you must to make it work.

I am also in Canada. I was having the same issues, except with the free versions of the spreadsheets (like the F-score and Z-score).
What I did was open the RCH spreadsheet, and edited the macro.
1. I did a search for all instances of http://www.advfn.com/ in the macro
2. I replace them with http://ca.advfn.com/
3. Note: I only found 2 instances in the entire project.
It seemed to solve my issues.
Hope that helps.

Yes. Should I just change the url in the formula to Canada's advfn version? If this is possible, how do I go about doing that?

Do you get directed automatically to the canadian version of the advfn website?
Let me think about this.
In the meantime, you may want to ask the actual developer of the add-in.
Randy is always available at http://finance.groups.yahoo.co…..smf_addin/

Yes, I can enter a stock symbol using any browser (including IE). I think what's happening is that the spreadsheet is downloading the data from the advfn US website. Since I'm from Canada, I'm automatically taken to the ca.advfn.com website which would be different from the default formula in the spreadsheet. Any suggestions on how I can solve this problem?
Other than that, the spreadsheets are working fine. It really saved me a LOT of time looking for great companies to invest in; thank you very much for your effort in putting this together.

I moved your post to a new thread.
For the financial statement spreadsheet, can you go to advfn with internet explorer (not firebox or other browsers) and enter a stock symbol?
I think advfn requires you to have a cookie loaded into your browser to be able to get the info.
The EPV issue between ADVFN and MSN data will also be related to the fact that you can't get the advfn data.
My one is working fine.

Hi Jae,
I'm having the same problem right now with the FS analysis spreadsheet. Also, for the Stock Valuation I have to keep on changing the data source from the default ADVFN to MSN in the EPV tab to get the right numbers. Is this normal?
