What ticker are you using?
Can you also save the spreadsheet file and send it to my email?

Still no change. Also, near the top it says: line item check: financial line items incorrect.

Can you try entering "NYSE:KO" in the ticker field?
Rather than just the ticker, try the index as well.

I made the change but it still doesn't work. The stock valuation spread sheet seems to work fine. Only the financial statement analysis doesn't work. Any other ideas?

Yes I saved. And I double checked to make sure it was there. This is what I saved:
sURL = "http://www.ca.advfn.com/p.php?pid=financialgraphs"
Is this right?
Thanks for your help

The CA exe file is simply the URL having been changed already. It is exactly the same as what you did already.
Did you save after you changed the URL?
DOes the stock valuation spreadsheet work?

I tried that already after reading it in a previous post but it didn't work. Then I found this post from August 26 that says it doesn't work and to use "SMF_Canada_Users_Only_setup.exe"
[Jae Jun said:
i see.
There are two places where the code has to be updated.
Modcreatecomment has nothing to do with pulling data which is why it isn't working.
If you go to the protected URL go into the folder that is labeled
Premium_v20100802/ and there is an exe file called
SMF_Canada_Users_Only_setup.exe
Delete the current SMF folder on your computer, and just run the exe file again.
Then try again. That should do it.]
If you can let me know how to get this file (SMF_Canada_Users_Only_setup.exe) I would appreciate it very much.
Thanks

IF you are in Canada, you'll need to make a simple edit to grab data from the CA website.
Open the spreadsheet
- Right click on the any of the tab and click "view code". This will bring up a window with code in it.
- On the left side, navigate to a folder called RCH_Stock_market_function
- Open up the subfolder called "modules"
- right click "modCreateComment" and then click on the main body window
- press CTRL+F to find
- select Search Current Project
- search for www.advfn.com and replace with the URL you got directed to. That is ca.advfn.com

I have the same problem. I am from Canada and read in another post that I need a different "exe." file. I sent an email last week but I'm still waiting for a reply so I hope I can get a response here.
