I'm starting this thread for discussion of the premium sheet upgrade and so we can record things in one place. I noted some differences that weren't called out in the email and thought I'd place them here so Jae could comment and we'd have a FAQ. Where numbers are used I'm using ticker OMG put into both the previous and the new version.
1) Front page balance sheet has changed. Total assets comes in at a different number (1704.6 new vs 1772.73 in example) Perhaps this is due to the DCF WACC change, but I can't figure out what has been removed from Total Assets (not a single line item). So you'll get different tangible value numbers from the front page, for example and the "P/Tang BV" ratio won't match what you'd calculate from the Dashboard Balance sheet. The Statements sheet is still right though. – This is the only one I consider in need of fixing, the dashboard should at least be self-consistent and the balance sheet there should perhaps reflect the statement numbers?
2) On DCF Valuation sheet a number of things have changed including the multi-performance calculations, example would be FCF/Sales, although some of that might be that the second line is now OE FCF where it used to be FCF. Just a heads up for people that you'll get different DCF numbers and see different table numbers.
3) Everything below line 41 on the statements is down a line, so any added computations will need to be adjusted (can you tell I add on some sutff? ) :)
