Wow thanks for the kind offer. I'll be more than happy to look through it but wont use it for commercial purposes. I dont feel comfortable using somebody elses work even if it is offered.

Cool.  thanks for the reply…

re:

1.  Too bad re: Advfn.  I understand why you're avoiding it.

Still tho – I wonder if we can integrate some kind of multiple choice "pulldown" option beside the ticker selector that would allow the user to "switch" to different data source to pull data for TSX stocks?  (just trying to brainstorm ideas to pull non-USA data…)

3.  Do you want me to send a copy of my PBT spreadsheet add-in to review?  (happy to donate to help other users & since you're using the $$ to support kids…)  Wink

first of all, that's some wonderful work you've done.

Here are my responses.

1. I had it all set up with advfn at one time but it didn't work out. Advfn has been having some data issues lately where an entire column is not appearing. I also have a few international people who are not computer saavy and it was hard to help them get it working.

2. Good point. I'll look into ways of getting more text on the screen. Just want to avoid clutter though.

3. I've read payback time myself. Thought about adding it but of the list of valuation models I have in mind, it isn't as high up on the list.

Your sheet looks amazing though. Looks great!

Hi Jae

First of all – I think the spreadsheet is AWESOME.  But

here's suggestions to ramp it up even better:

1.  International stocks. (ie. Canada) It'd be nice to

have the option to "switch" data sources from "smartmoney"

to "advfn" in order to import stocks listed on the TSX.

2.  Dashboard (& corresponding sheet) explanations

with color codes (for speed & ease of use).  The numbers are great,

but oftentimes its difficult to quickly "interpret" the numbers

seen.  For example:  for NCAV – conditional formatting color code in

relation to the price (if it's a good number it's green, if not red)

3.  I'm intrigued by the book "Payback Time"

and it's theories on estimating the "reliability" & "future

price" of a stock based on historical data.  ie.  current

analysis on stock "x"….so if "x" continues to perform as

normal, what will eps be in "y" years?  What is the probable p/e

ratio (avg) to expect in "y" years.  etc.  I've created a

plugin sheet for myself that incorporates into your workbook, so you can see

what I mean…

If u like I can donate to the cause…(lemme know what u think Cool)

Cheers!
