Graeme,
I haven't actually linked any portfolios as of yet so I'm not exactly sure. But if you click on a ticker and open the page you'll find various figures for the company. If a number is highlighted you can mouse over it and it has what I suspect the sort of red flags it looks for. For example, take a look at Footlocker's Income Statement and there are a number of highlighted items. You can mouseover it to see what it's highlighted for.
Backtesting right now only works for a year. I think they're expanding that but I'm not sure.

Somrh,
How are you finding Robot Dough's other advertized uses. The backtesting of a custom screen seems to be pretty cool.
But the one that looked iffy was the "sending you alerts if something wonky is detected." Have you found that to be helpful? Do they actually find things like "hey, looks like they are fudging the books!" or are they mostly saying common sense things. In their speach at Finovate (some conference in NYC) the example they gave was salesforce.com losing money and the notice saying "this is probably bad. On average, companies that lose money decrease in share price." Gee, thanks tips!
Any other cool uses?

I frequently use RobotDough. It's still in beta and they are still adding features but it's pretty flexibile in what you can search for. You can enter in formulas using information from financial statements and it will perform the screen for you.

Hi Jae,
I read a lot of discussions in this forum about screen stocks using different criterias such as CROIC and ROIC, Piotroski score, BenJamin Graham fomula etc. to come out several stocks for further considerations. How can this be done? Any free Internet sources/tools to let us do similar job? Can we make use of the premium spreadsheet to automatic this kind of screening instead of only being able to valuate known tickets which we have to key in? Or we can make use of OSV stock screeners? If yes, how?
Thanks!
