By ROTC do you mean return on total capital?

Return on total capital = (net income + interest expense)
                                                 average total capital

 

This is the formula I got from investopedia as I dont use this ratio.

It says

4. Return on Total Capital (ROTC)
Total
capital is defined as total stockholder liability and equity. Interest
expense is defined as the total interest expense excluding any interest
income. This ratio measures the total return the company generates from
all sources of financing.

where

Total capital includes the company's debt and shareholders' equity,
which includes common stock, preferred stock, minority interest and
net debt.

Been trying to find the ROTC of a company but unable to locate the data; however as I looked over the financials I came across ROCI, are these two interchangeable?  Currently using advfn.com for historical data, are there any other sites that can provide 10 years of financials?  If worse comes to worse I can calculate the ROTC, but which data should i use because on the financials things are not labled as clearly as the definitions on investopedia??  PLEASE HELP!!! Trying to find the ROCT is frustratin the sh@$% out of me…Thank you
