Haha. I always think they're good for a chuckle.

I only occassionally read zeroheadge because they sometimes have decent articles. The article I was actually reading was one that basically showed Whitney Tilson's hedge fund performance which basically looked like a more volatile S&P500:

I forget how lobbying entered into the picture but it was a good link nonetheless.

It's amazing the sorts of links you can find in the comment section on zerohedge:

Strategas developed an index of members of the S&P500 with the highest decile of intensity of lobbying defined as:

lobbying expenditures / total assets

The result: The index outperformed the S&P500 by 11% per year since 2002. 

According to the article, for each $1 spent on lobbying, companies receive a $220 return on investment. The index provides solid evidence of that. How is that not a good value?
