Old School Value Forum Live

An announcement to let you know that the Old School Value forum is now live. It came around quicker than I expected. There are still some features that I plan to add, but I can do that steadily. The important thing is to get ideas and discussions going.

The focus of the forum is to have deep thoughtful discussions you can’t get at the other forums. I’ll be moderating it to remove all spam so that we can keep it clean and meaningful.

I’ve already started some ideas such as a liquidation play I just heard about and a couple of cheap value stocks I’ve been looking into.

Check it out at http://www.oldschoolvalue.com/forum/

Registering is very easy and quick. I hate filling out more than 2-3 boxes when registering so I’ve kept it down to the bare minimum.

Come join in the discussion.

    Hi Jae Jun,

I registered, but my password did not send to my email. I tried to resend using the forgot password link, but it did not work as well.

Can you please help me by explaining the term “total capitalization” that is using by ADVFN (#10706 in RCHGetElementNumber formula) – how it calculated with relation to the published financial statements

for example, as of today based on Microsoft June 30, 2009 financials: =RCHGetElementNumber(smft,10706)=43304

    thx, Noah
