Got back on Monday. I had a great time at the conference, got to meet many like minded investors and also got a chance to chat with some value/hedge fund managers. I have a bunch of notes that I need to turn into some blog posts but unfortunately I have a really busy week at work. Hoping I can get the posts done this weekend.

Ryan,
CGI is big on PRXI but it isn't my type of stock. Too many moral issues.
Haven't had enough time to check out all the ideas and discussions in the forum but I'll let you know if something interesting pops up.
I need to get back to screen and valuing more ideas.

I like what they do at CGI. They have a very active forum, lots of quality discussions. I actually managed to get a complimentary membership (perks of having an active blog I guess) and if I wasn't doing my own thing, I would probably sign up.

I'm gonna be moving on the days they have the conference so its a no show for me this year.

Look forward to your notes. I know they will discuss PRXI (although I have an ethics issue with that investment).

I am not a member so I can't comment on the service. I was originally trying to weasel my way into The Value Investing Congress for free or really cheap, either through SeekingAlpha or a few other routes but had no luck. I was kind of bummed, but then I saw NFI post a link to CGI on twitter. After checking out the site I decided that I would actually rather go to CGI instead the VIC because I think the ideas and information will be more relevant for smaller value investors.
I will probably learn more about their service at the conference. I plan to take notes so hopefully I can keep you in the loop with some blog posts about the talks.

I looked into their services last year, but wanted to wait until the exchange rate improved.

Are you a member of CGI? What do you think of their service? I started speaking with Tom Jacobs, very friendly and enlightening guy btw, and would like to hear what people think about them.
Shame I can't go. Would love to though.
