The data comes from advfn. If you look at each celll in the statements tab, you will see a formula where each cell controls the information for that particular row and column.

JJ, the data for the financial statements analysis 1.0.3 is currently extracted from which site and this is controlled where in the spreadsheet? I'd like to also do some brainstorming and see if I can come up with something.

There is not way at the moment. I feel the need for the same thing but I'm finding it to be an extremely difficult task. If I add a new column the new data will not be included in any of the calculations because the formulas will be so long, and the spreadsheet would take even longer to calculate because it would have to check the conditions of evey cell to see whether new data has been included.
I've been trying to think of a way for quite a while but can't come up with a simple to use solution.

Hello, I know there is another thread about this but I wanted to know if there is a way to force new data from a company that has reported a few weeks ago… like testing formulas with reuters, morningstar, yahoo, etc. and find out which service already has posted the new information. I am on the "Financial Statements Analysis 1.0.3 and am a bit frustated to have to wait until I get the right numbers. Still showing data from 12/09. I said this before, but thank you for this great tool!
