Owner earnings = Net income + depreciation & amortization +/- one-time items – capital expenditures

FCF = Cash from operations – Capex

Try these articles I wrote on FCF first.

A good explanation of FCF

Hi Jae,

I saw your previous post about owner earnings FCF. That is the concept by Buffet. I can't tell the difference between that and the ordinary FCF. Could you please tell me a bit?

Thank you!

Zehua
