Is this from your home computer that you work mainly from?

The site is detecting your browser as a mobile device for some reason..

To reset your IE, go to internet options and then in the Advanced tab there will be a button called "Reset"

BEWARE that this will delete all your settings, so you may want to backup your bookmarks first.

I'm having the same problem and it turns out the URL http://www.smartmoney.com/quot…..amp;opt=YC is redirected to http://m.smartmoney.com/quote/…..amp;opt=YC and got a page not found error.

I tried to follow your comment "… set IE settings to default …" but don't know exactly which settings you were refering to, can you elaborate the setps to reset IE settings?  Thanks.

Set your internet explorer settings to default and it should work.

Can you save the spreadsheet and send to my email?

I sent you an e-mail with similar problem. I can access that URL on Firefox but not on Explorerer.

where are you located?

Can you send me the file?

The quickest and easiest way is for me to remote access your computer and check the settings.

Eh, spreadsheet?

I can access the page, but see no option to save a spreadsheet of the table (displayed in html).

Can you rephrase what you mean?

Thanks!

If you go to the statements tab and select one of the Revenues cell in the statements tab what formula are you seeing?

Does it start with =RCHGetTableCell or ='C"SMF!RCHGetTableCell?

Just 'RCHGetTableCell', but only after the branching test.

As an example, Revenue 2009 cell (N7) has formula:

=IF(ISERROR(RCHGetTableCell("http://www.smartmoney.com/quote/"&Ticker&"/?story=financials&timewindow=1&opt=YI";1;"Income Statement (Non-Cumulative)";$B7)/1000);0;RCHGetTableCell("http://www.smartmoney.com/quote/"&Ticker&"/?story=financials&timewindow=1&opt=YI";1;"Income Statement (Non-Cumulative)";$B7)/1000)

The same for other revenue cells on the Statements tab (file: OSV_Stock_Valuation-v20100821.xls )

Hello, I'm having trouble (again) getting the spreadsheets to work.

I have the premium package of OSV spreadsheets and have also tried the 9 free spreadsheets. The versions I'm using are downloaded today 30-08-2010 (i.e. OSV_Stock_Valuation-v20100821).

With all of them I get plenty of fields with #VALUE in them and the most important calculations do not work.

All the installations have been done according to the instructions in the PDF. In addition, I've triple-checked that the proper Add-ins are enabled, SMF and XLS -file paths are in the Trusted Locations (in trust center) and all macros have been enabled. Also, none of the xls-files have been saved by me. Also, firewall is not blocking (i.e. I have it disabled) connections. It seems that the xls-file is able to pull some, but not all information for all symbols. It doesn't really matter which symbol I use, the errors are in the same places (e.g. not stock specific).

Even entering the "Shares out." manually on the stock_valuation xls file's "DCF Valuation" tab helps none.

I can provide debugging information, but there's just too much to give now (all xls files, all sheets), so if you can give me your opinion as to where to start, then I'll get to it.

BTW, I'm outside USA, in EU. http://www.advfn.com/ doesn't redirect me to a country sub-site (i.e. browser stays on http://www.advfn.com all the time).

Thanks!

PS An example screenshot of the DCF tab

http://i38.tinypic.com/29mkllu.png

Entering correct value manually to "Shares out." and pressing "Refresh" still gives lots and lots of zero and illegal values.
