When did you sign up? You may be outside the 1 year frame so I will have to send you the fixed previous version.

Any ideas on how to fix the morning star issue? Seems to break both 5 and 10 yr spreadsheets.

Show me the intrinsic value!

I also received the following error:
Error 1316. A network
error occurred while attempting to
read from the file
C:UsersGENEGA~1AppDataLocalTemp{6017E50B-7689-49CF-A9E5-0FA8A3EE9D04}Old
School Value Spreadsheets.msi
However, this only occurred on my laptop running Windows XP/Excel 2003. When I installed it on my desktop running Windows 7/Excel 2007 it said it installed correctly, but I couldn't find it. I uninstalled the SMF file and re-installed the OSV update and everything worked perfectly.
On the laptop running XP, I simply downloaded the following files and ran them without going through the formal installation and everything seems to be working perfectly.
Thanks, Jae for an amazing product!!

Jae,
Will you post a solution to the morningstar problem soon ? I was reading that you can still get 10 yr data from smartmoney.com or gurufocus.com.
Let us know if you will provide an update soon.
Otherwise, if I decide to pay for the data either from advfn or morningstar, does the spreadsheet need to be customized to receive the data ? Any advice on that ?
thanks.

please refer to the manual. There is a section to address this issue. A problem with the way Vista or Win 7 uses memory.

Always a tradeoff but there is always a solution. Morningstar was good while it lasted.

First ADVFN, now Morningstar. This appears to be a chronic problem with free data spreadsheet solutions.

Jae,
I noticed that morningstar recently changed their website content and formatting, and as a result the financials are no longer available for 10 years. In fact only premium users can access the 10 yr financials.
Consequently, the 10yr OSV spreadsheet is unable to retrieve the values from morningstar. Can you please take a look at it?
-Thanks
Ranajit
