With the asset valuation section, try changing the source data to the other options.

 

If you made the change to the code in the add-in, then the financial analysis spreadsheet will work.

Try entering the ticker NYSE:KO

NYSE:JNJ

NYSE:MSFT

 

put the index and the colon symbol as well as the ticker.

Hi I did the steps you mentioned above however I still get the same problem.

I switched to ih.advfn.com as well and got the same problem but this time there is no value for DCF price

and margin of safety for DCF as well.

Income statements all show error or #value!.

Is there anything else I can try?

Are there any sites I need to avoid while using the spreadsheet?

I am using Microsoft Excel 2002 SP3 on Windows XP SP3

Open the spreadsheet.

1.Right click on the any of the tab and click "view code". This will bring up a window with code in it.

2. On the left side, navigate to a folder called RCH_Stock_market_function

3. Open up the subfolder called "modules"

4. right click "modCreateComment" and then click on the main body window

5. press CTRL+F to find

6. select Search Current Project

7. search for http://www.advfn.com and replace with the URL you got directed to. e.g. asia.advfn.com or ih.advfn.com etc

Hi sorry for the late reply, when I go to http://www.advfn.com and enter a ticker I get the following information:

Change amount for the day,Change %,Current Price,Bid Price,Ask Price,High,Low, Open Price, Volume, Time

further along the page I get historical charts, monthly charts and intraday charts followed

by the news relevant for the ticker.

 

I am redirected to asia.advfn.com

 

Do I need to change the source by which I get the information?

If yes, how do I go about it?

Go to http://www.advfn.com and enter the ticker, what information do you get?

Are you redirected to another website?

Hi, I am from Asia.

When I put in a stock symbol, I'm not getting any values in the summary tab for Asset and EPV valuations.

On the statements tab, I am also not getting any values for the Income Statement.

 

Appreciate any help. Thanks!!
