The spreadsheets are created from x86 application.
Running x86 programs on 64bit windows is incompatible and vice versa.

I ran into the same crashing problem with Windows 7 x64 and Office 2010 x64. I found out that if I use Office 2010 x86, I don't have the problem. I wonder if you are experiencing the same issue.

are you using the xls file or the xlsm file?
Both shouldn't crash. If the xlsm crashes as well, can you select "save as" and save a new copy to your computer.

I'm running Windows 7 and Office 2010 and whenever I enter a new ticker into the Stock Valuation spreadsheet and then click OK, it crashes Excel and forces it to close. The Financial Statements file works perfectly and has no problems. I have tried everything in the troubleshooting guide. Any ideas?
