I tend to include new additions when I find something really useful.

It is also extremely difficult to constantly add every single idea, test it, fix it and then release it.

Other companies keep the same spreadsheet for at least 1 year before applying updates.

Jae; I see that you just did some posting about the book "Warren Buffett and the Interpretation of Financial Statements" by Mary Buffett. Personally I think Pat Dorsey's books are much better.

 

I was going to suggest that the various ratios in that book be incorporated into the "Financial Statements" spreadsheet. If you read some of the ratios in that book carefully you will observe that they are a little different from conventional ratios. Whatever ratios not already in the "Financial Statements" spreadsheet and implementing the suggestions I said in the posting could be added to the "Other Ratios" spreadsheet.

 

Still another good idea would be to verify that the various ratios mentioned in that book add value by backtesting them if possible.
