My favorite idea which I have a position in is Orvana Minerals on the TSX, a company with a market cap slightly north of 100 million USD. The company operated a high grade gold mine for 6 years and has amassed a large hoard of cash that it is now in the process of using to grow the company from a one mine to a 3 mine operation with a very low probability of share dilution. I feel with the current disfavor of mining stocks given the recent actions in China to curb inflation likely will present a period of weakness here and will give an opportunity to add or initiate a position here. My 2013 target for the stock is $5-8.

I recommend that you kick the tires here as this stock has all of the value and growth parameters for a higher stock price over time.
