There were many changes that caused the spreadsheet on this page not to work. To get the latest working versions, sign up with your email and you will get a list of downloads.

Hello,
I have been thinking about purchasing this program; however, I cannot get the free version to work. I have downloaded the SMF function and activated the function in excel. Is the free version supposed to retrieve the data from the WWW. For example, I tried the FDX ticker and no information was returned through excel. I am running excel 2007, could this be the problem?

Thanks
William

For the free version, I just limited it to 5 years and 7 quarters. It is still a lot considering that the spreadsheet is free and can be tweaked anyway you like.
The premium stock valuation spreadsheet uses smartmoney by the way.

Jae Jun,

Thank you for very useful spreadsheets. I tried to use Financial Statement Analysis Spreadsheet for JNJ and GE it shows me only 5 years Annual and 7 Quarterly statements. I guess the cause is the limited history in WWW source.

You probably noted that data for the same company at different WWW sites are different - it would be nice to have clone of your spreadsheet based on each WWW portal, so your customers can get more inputs.

BTW, more deep history and lot of raw data can be downloaded from http://www.smartmoney.com/

Thank you again

Sincerely
J. C. Hyjun
