I would suggest enhancing the current investment\portfolio spreadsheet. It is well designed and the comparision to S&P is pretty good too.
However, I do not use that, have my own simplified version based on the 'gummy' website.
Suggested additions:
-Allow different buys & sells for same security.
-Allow multiple ETF\Indices for comparision, say benchmark of SPY, IWM & VWO.
-Comparision complete portfolio to benchmark instead of each holding.
-Comparision over different timeframe, YTD, 1-3-5 year, etc.

Thanks

I agree with the portfolio tracking spreadsheet. Ive searched for a good tracker all over the internet but never found one. I'll have to learn more about math to be able to create one that works properly..

I'm VERY interested in the portfolio tracking spreadsheet, especially one that handled dividends as well.

Ideally, it would be able to hand returns over a given time period (i.e. over the past month, quarter, from June 21 to June 28 etc), and compare those results to the major indices.

Tracking gain/loss from shorting would be extremely nice as well.
