Old School Value blog

Empowering value investors with stock valuation, ideas and tutorials

Recommended Reading – Jan 9, 2009

Lately, I’ve been trying to improve the speed of the site. There was a tradeoff between speed and looks with the new design, which I am trying to narrow. If you have an issue with pages or items not loading or displaying properly, please let me know so that I can improve your reading experience.

A reader informed me that he had been visiting Old School Value for a couple of months and the background was brown and text illegible from the very beginning! So thank you to all that continue to come. I hope to continue on the quality of the posts even if they don’t come so frequently.

Here is a round up of this weeks best articles I came across in no particular order.

Don’t forget to visit The DIV-Net for great daily Dividend and Value Investing articles from a host of great authors.

On a more personal note, end of Dec-mid Jan is absolutely hectic for me. It’s the worst personal schedule I’ve ever encountered. Drastic reduction of sleep, no days to rest and everything happening all at once. So bear with me in my way overdue posts on the final Forbes list and financial statement anaylsis.

Thanks for the link! Keep up the great work I really enjoy your posts. I had noticed the issue with brown overlay here and there but assumed it was a CSS issue with Google Chrome.
