For premium members still within their 1 year free upgrade period, this is to let you know that I’ve sent out updates to fix the bond rates in the Graham valuation tab.
I also wanted to get your feedback on the changes I’ve been making to the spreadsheet. Below is a comparison between the old design and new design. Could you let me know which one you think provides a clearer message?
The version I am working on has all the required inputs at the top instead of being scattered everywhere and you can also choose whether you want to use owner earnings or FCF in your calculation.
The 5yr and 10yr spreadsheet will be consolidated into one, and I’ll try to include micro charts and conditional formatting in the appropriate places so that it isn’t just the data conveying the message.

Jae,
Should I be receiving an update in my email, or do I have to download the update from someplace?
Thanks,
Rocky

You should have received an email yesterday if you are still on the mailing list.
Did you sign up to the premium mailing list before?
- Graham Jervis

Jae,
I just reviewed some of my old emails that I got when I purchased your product. I don’t think that I have signed up for the premium mailing list and I couldn’t find a link to where I needed to sign in. Could you please forward the link so I can sign up.
Thanks,
Rocky

Jae,
Like the new spreadsheet design as well, especially the conversion of the 10 year and 5 year spreadsheet into one. I was also wondering if you had some sort of resigning fee once the one year time period is up, or do we just repurchase the spreadsheets again?
thanks,
David

I have same question as Dave,
Spreadsheet looks great. Only suggestions is maybe highlight the different categories so there is some kind of separator. For example, the current spreadsheet has a black background.

@ david, Magic,
I don’t have a resigning fee. You would just have to purchase again but I usually send out a discount coupon to expired members.
I also had the same request about the divider which I think is a good idea.
I’ll have to see what is good on the eyes.

Great,
this just hit me for a feature update and I will be willing to pay for this, but maybe tab for tracking portfolio performace. I know it could be done, but the ability to do stock analysis and keep track of portfolio performance and positions in one place. Priceless.

Interesting idea. It’s also about time I try and update the portfolio management spreadsheet somehow.
Another thing added to my to do list.

Jae: I didn’t get the update either–I’m still within the on year of purchase.
I like the look of the screen capture as well. Consider adding in (maybe next to the MOS) the projected return, using the IRR or MIRR formulas based on the projected series of cash flows in the analysis–reference Chap. 21 of, “Financial Statements” for a good description.

Hi Jae, could you also send me the spreadsheet update? I believe I am still within the 1 year free upgrade and unfortunately didn’t receive any email. Thanks!

Hi Jae
Upgrade also not received. Thanks.

The new layout is undoubtedly better with the color coding etc.
One suggestion – can you create some more user input override capabilities on the cash flow growth on the DCF page. Such user input override can be especially useful in situations where 1-2 years of high growth is likely and then one wants to project much slower growth.
By when do you expect the sheet with the micro charts!?
