I wish I knew myself. I found out about CCPCN through Quantum Online. The site offers updated information on preferred, trusts and other income type securities. Quite comprehensive. As for liquidation of companies, you would have to find an 8-K specifically stating a liquidation. I don't believe they have a separate form for liquidation notifications.

How do you get to know about liquidations?
Is there a special SEC form or it is just a traditional 8-K?
Do you know a site that tracks them?

Seems like Lehman cancelled the liquidation of CCPCN.
Dropped more than 65% on the news. Lucky I couldn't get any shares and shows how wrong I was about liquidations. Seems like there is just as much uncertainty with liquidations as there are in mergers.

Will try to provide more info if I can find it.
