- Where does the financial data come from?
You get direct access to Morningstar's dedicated professional data feed to download all the annual and quarterly financial statements. This is the same data you get at morningstar.com - How does the spreadsheet work?
Just enter a stock symbol into the spreadsheet and it will automatically access a dedicated professional data feed to download financial data. The collected data is then calculated based on the formulas in the spreadsheet and loaded to your screen. You can then adjust one or two figures to fine tune the calculations. - Does this work for non-US stocks?
Unfortunately, no. The spreadsheets will only work for US listed stocks. No Canadian, Australian, British, Indian, European and Asian stock exchanges. - Can I look up OTC and Pink Sheet stocks?
No. OTC and pink sheet stocks do not have enough financial data for the spreadseet to calculate properly. However, valuations can be performed if some manual work is undertaken. - Do I need any other subscription to run?
No. You do not need to be subscribed to any other service. The spreadsheet is all you need to get started today. - Can I use this on a MAC?
At this time, the spreadsheet will NOT work on a standard MAC. The only way to run it on a MAC is to load a Windows virtual OS or to create a new Windows partition and then install Office for Windows.
