I’m sure he is a busy man. He is running his company after all.

As for how long to hold it.. If the company is losing a lot of money, then sell as soon as it reaches your determined intrinsic value. Otherwise hold on a little longer as they continue to improve things.

He seemed to say in the email that it doesn’t seem to be bleeding much cash. How long do you hold these?

Hi Z,

Joe must be busy with finding cheap stocks as well. He is usually quiet on the blog when things get busy. You can always look him up on linkedin as well as Twitter. Search his name on both networks.

As for VOL, I left a comment on the following article http://seekingalpha.com/article/146327-volt-an-employment-play
I prefer MHH over VOL unless I can’t see what others are seeing.

Do you have any thoughts on VOL?

Love the new site! I’m curious to hear your thoughts on another Graham stock. Ponzio was supposedly buying VOL last week according to an email one of his investors forwarded to me. He has been pretty quiet on his blog. Do you know how to track him other than on his website? It looks like he may be added to the guru list on gurufocus but they don’t follow him yet.

Where else can I learn about these stocks?

@ Len,

LoL I wasn’t at the game. Just watching it on TV. If I took my laptop to the game my wife would probably throw the computer away lol

But for some sick reason, I enjoy going over previous stocks I looked at to see how well they did and to analyse whether I misjudged or analysed correctly. Hindsight is good both for positions I’ve held as well as ones I passed on.

Seriously, I’ve made the same mistake as you re: perceived missed opportunities. Don’t be too hard on yourself. I remember seeing Google as a “missed opportunity” at $100 and then $200 and then… well, you get the point!
