On the heels of a disbanded buyout of Infusystems, here is what I’m planning to do.

Nothing.

I bought Infusystems at the beginning of the year without knowing about a buyout. I had a 5% position, and then with the news, I doubled down to make it 10%.

The fact is that my position size is now bigger, but my original reason for holding is still the same.

I’m not going to lie.

I would definitely has liked the quick satisfaction and the pop in my portfolio. Actually blown away that Morris didn’t return with a second bid.

I was excited because this was the first big arb opportunity for me in quite a while, but it fizzled before it even began.

So I’ll be going back to my original plan to hold and let the short term do whatever it wants.
